A little input. A useful starting point.
For 1990-01-01 at 12:00 UTC, calculate all ten bodies and inspect their tropical longitude table. If your source says noon local time, convert it before using this example setup.

UNDER THE HOOD
Astronomy Engine 2.1.19 computes light-time and aberration-corrected geocentric vectors for the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Ecliptic converts those vectors to the true ecliptic and equinox of date. Each 30-degree tropical zodiac sector names a sign. A centered one-day longitude difference estimates direct or retrograde motion. Display rounds to 0.01 degrees; rounding is not a claim about birth-time certainty. No latitude, longitude, ascendant, houses or predictive reading is calculated.
Use the birth date and clock time from your source, then determine the UTC offset that applied in that place on that date. Daylight saving rules may differ from current rules. Subtract a positive offset and…

Read the wheel and longitude table together
The zodiac here is tropical: twelve equal 30-degree sectors measured from the equinox. It does not use the irregular boundaries of astronomical constellations or a sidereal offset. The small marks around the…

Keep unknown time separate from calculated precision
A software calculation can produce a precise number for a guessed time, but that does not make the birth time known. If the time is unknown, mark it approximate and treat noon UTC as a placeholder.…
GOOD TO KNOW
A few useful answers.
Is this a full natal chart with houses?
No. It is a planets-only tropical chart based on real geocentric positions. It does not calculate an ascendant, midheaven, houses or aspects.
Why is no birth city requested?
These positions use the center of Earth as the observer. A location is needed for horizon-based features such as an ascendant, which this tool does not provide.
Can I enter local time?
Convert it to UTC first, including the historical daylight saving offset and any date rollover. The form labels and output explicitly identify UTC.
Does astrology scientifically predict personality or events?
No. The astronomical positions are calculated, but astrological personality and event interpretations are not established scientific predictions. This tool offers positions for exploration, not advice or forecasts.
Is my birth information uploaded?
Calculation takes place in your browser. The date, time and chart label are not submitted to an astronomy service. The chart is downloaded only when you choose to save it.
